The Android platform currently has over 250,000 apps available to download, with a huge amount of that number available for free. Android has a large community of developers that are adding to the number of available apps all the time.

The Android Market, run by Google, is the online store where you can go to download your apps, but there are also a number of third party sites where apps can be downloaded. My personal favourite being App Brain.

With Smartphones now flooding the mobile phone market I have created this website as a little guide, from my own personal experience, about what apps are out there are useful or fun to have on your phone.
